| Julien is a brilliant but
unambitious doctor suffering from alcoholism. He is
content lending his services to the poor folk of Paris,
although he is in constant danger of being shut down
by the Guild of Physicians for violating guild “ethical
standards”, which prohibit providing services
for free and treating people of Jewish descent.
He stumbles onto a thousand year-old mystery when
a medieval scroll is stolen from his friend Father
Gérard Marin. The investigation into the
scroll becomes a quest to discover the secret nature
of the Holy Grail itself.
