Unbeknownst to Julien, Genevieve is reporting
to the Duke of Lorrraine on his investigation
into the missing scroll. Lorraine's relationship
to the mustery is as of yet unclear.
Julien is warned off the case once again by
the powerful Archbishop of Sens, the head of
the Inquisition in Paris. He ignores the warning.
Through Georges Lipp, Julien traces the stolen
scroll to underworld boss Baptiste Dumont. Later
that night, the Man in White kills Lipp.
