Following Navarre’s “hunting accident”, the Duke of Lorraine formerly proposes the annexation of the “Spanish Marches” of Navarre, Aragon and Catalonia.

Genevieve tells Julien she saw Lorraine drinking out of a human skull in the ceremony from Book 2. This leads Julien to suspect the true identity of the Holy Grail might be the preserved skull of John the Baptist.

Julien and Calvet take part in a raid in the catacombs, only to find the “occultists” are actually opium smugglers. But they also discover the same symbol on the back of the note Gen found in Issue 12 carved into the catacomb floor…
