While Lorraine’s guests exult over the
declaration of war, Genevieve and Julien encounter
the cloaked figure from Montmartre Cemetery
in Issue 10. The stranger tells them how to
find the Lorraine family chapel, hidden in the
woods on the estate.
Isabelle follows them. For some reason, Julien
is able to open the door to the chapel, even
though it is guarded by powerful magical seals
and he has no knowledge of sorcery.
Inside, Genevieve and Julien learn Lorraine’s
connection to the Holy Grail. They are then
attacked by the chapel’s guardian, a monstrous
golem! Although they defeat the creature, but
Julen is badly hurt.
